   Justice for Woody to Release Findings on
      on December 2nd Church Shooting


You are cordially invited to attend a press conference
to be held at noon, September 24th, at the Quality Inn
in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Sponsored by the citizens' group Justice for Woody,
the conference will present the findings of the group's
8-month investigation into the killing of Robert Woodward
and official actions surrounding it.

Based on eyewitness testimony and forensic evidence, the
findings include a detailed narrative description of the
events surrounding the shooting, an analysis of the evidence,
a critique of the Attorney General's report, and a call for
reforms.  The report presents a number of discoveries which
raise serious questions about the actions of the officers,
the reactions of the authorities, and the conclusions of the
Attorney General's report.

While the killing of Robert Woodward has been the subject
of extensive press coverage, the Vermont Attorney General's
exoneration of the shooters has yet to be to subject of
serious public scrutiny in light of the evidence. Our report
is an attempt to address this oversight by providing the
press and public with resources with which to understand
the case and what it indicates about the need for reform.

The presentation will last just under an hour, followed
by a question and answer session.  Thereafter members
of Justice for Woody will be available to speak with
the press.
